For Senior Research Fellow(SRF):
- Minimum 2 years experience as JRF in a sponsored project/Ph.d. registered student in Physics or Atmospheric Science.
- Academic career with 65% marks or M.Sc. or M.Sc. Tech. or B.Tech./M.Tech. (Atmospheric/Science/Meteorology/Physics/Chemistry/Environmental Science/Climate Science /Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing and GIS / Geography/Equivalent).
- GATE/NET qualification.
For Junior Research Fellow(JRF):
- First division throughout academic career with 65% marks or above in M.Sc. or M.Sc. Tech. or B.Tech./M.Tech. (Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Physics/Chemistry/Environmental Science/Climate Science /Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing and GIS / Geography/Equivalent).
- GATE/NET qualification.

Remuneration:
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs 35,000/-+ HRA as per university guideline.
- Junior Research Fellow: Rs 31,000/-+ HRA as per university guideline.
Duration of Post: 1 Year (extendable based on performance).
